It works by "cold welding"—chemically melting the surface of the polystyrene plastic to fuse two parts into one solid piece. This makes it the superior choice for major structural assemblies, such as joining the halves of an aircraft fuselage, tank hulls, or gluing heavy wings to the body.

The defining feature of this product is the fine hollow metal needle applicator. Unlike brushes or thick tubes, the needle allows for surgical precision. You can place a single tiny drop into a locator pinhole or run a controlled bead of glue along a wing edge with ease. The glue has a slower drying time than thin cements, giving you a valuable 10-20 seconds to adjust the alignment of parts before they set permanently.

Pro Tip: If the needle ever becomes clogged with dried glue, simply remove the needle tip and hold it briefly over a lighter flame to melt the blockage, clearing the path instantly.
