Thirty years after the Battle of Endor, the Millennium Falcon remains the most resilient ship in the galaxy. Rediscovered on the desert planet of Jakku, this kit depicts the freighter in its "Sequel Trilogy" configuration. While the silhouette is unmistakable, keen-eyed modelers will spot the critical modifications made over the decades, most notably the rectangular sensor dish (replacing the round one lost at the Battle of Endor). This model captures the grit and history of a ship that has outlived empires and continues to fight for freedom against the First Order.

EpicWing has updated its tooling to reflect the specific "prop" used in Episode VII. Aside from the new radar dish, the kit features revised sidewall piping ("greeblies") and subtle changes to the engine deck vents. The cockpit interior is accurate to the modern films, and the included pilot figures allow you to recreate the escape from Jakku with Rey and Finn, or the nostalgic reunion with an older Han Solo and Chewbacca. The landing gear has been reinforced, and the boarding ramp features the updated hydraulic mechanisms seen on screen.

Visually, this Falcon is weather-beaten and battle-scarred, representing years of neglect before its return to glory. The hull plastic is molded in a slightly darker, dirtier grey tone than the Original Trilogy version. The decal sheet focuses on the heavy grime, oil leaks, and carbon scoring that tell the story of a ship that has seen too much action. Also included are the specific blue engine glow parts to simulate the sublight drives powering up for another hyperspace jump.
