Legends of Mogadishu: MH-60L Black Hawk

Recreate one of the most intense moments in modern military history with this tribute to Task Force Ranger. This kit depicts the specialized MH-60L variant flown by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), known as the "Night Stalkers," during the fateful mission in Mogadishu in 1993. Immortalized in the film Black Hawk Down, these helicopters were modified for direct action missions, stripping away excess weight for speed and adding heavy firepower for close air support.

HELIXO has released this kit in a large 1:35 scale to capture every detail of the "Velcro Hawks." The interior is packed with mission-specific equipment, including the floor-mounted ammo cans for the M134 Miniguns, the FRIES (Fast Rope Insertion Extraction System) gantries, and the simplistic bench seating used by Delta Force and Rangers. The exterior features the correct sensors, antennas, and infrared jammers used during the early 90s, distinguishing it from modern Black Hawks.

The highlight of this "Task Force Ranger" edition is the inclusion of historically accurate markings for the specific helicopters involved in the battle, such as Super 61 (Thunderstruck) and Super 64 (Venom). The decal sheet includes the pilots' names and unit nose art. Additionally, the kit includes a set of detailed resin crew figures and operators ready to fast-rope, allowing modelers to build a dynamic, narrative-driven diorama right out of the box.
